Which doll?! HELP!

Yes, I'm in a quandary--

I'm going to AGPC next weekend, and I'm going to choose a doll from among those that have been released post-Mattel-- but it's SOOO HARD!

I have it narrowed down to:

Nellie
AGT4
AGT22
AGT23
AGT24

If I get Nellie, I'm also getting Addy's work dress for her, and maybe her Spring Party dress, too. If I get a Today girl, I'm also getting the new embroidered Party Dress for her, and maybe the Coconut's Best Friend outfit, too. (Also, I'll exchange the meet outfit later.)

And to make it worse, I'm having such a hard time choosing, I'm seriously considering getting TWO dolls, Nellie and a Today girl! (I'll have freshly-earned AG $$ in my pocket, wouldn't want it to get cold, would we?) [img]wink.gif[/img]

So, if I got Nellie AND a Today girl, WHICH Today girl? You see, it just gets worse and worse....

(I always thought it was kind of silly to post these "help me choose" threads, since everyone just votes for their own favorites; but now I know how it feels--and I need HELP! [img]eek.gif[/img] )

Where is the AG Force when I really need it?

I have Nellie, 23 and 24. And while I love Nellie-her hair is too short to really style.

However my 23, Noelle is my favorite AGOT doll. I love her to death-she is SO beautiful. I especially love the contrasting eyes.

*grins*

I did buy Addy's work dress for Nellie though!

I thought you had a Mattel version of AGT 4, and liked the one in your avatar much better so gave the newer one away?

If you're able to get 2 dolls and want 2, then get two. I have Nellie, and she's gorgeous. The only others that I have made by Mattel are #23. she is gorgeous.

Nellie is the only one I have. I love her short strawberry blonde hair and freckles. You can't do much with her hair, like Jordyn said, but you can put her hair in a half pony, a side pony, or two ponytails. Not that her hair bothers me. I have short hair, so I like dolls with short hair. I just [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Nellie because she just looks so cute.

#23 gets my vote! The more I look at her the more I love her! In general, I am drawn to the historicals, but #21 and #23 of the AGOT are really starting to tempt me. LOL. Have fun at AGP and I'm sure you will LOVE whoever you decide to get. If I were you, I wouldn't totally make up my mind until I was there. One of the dolls might tug at your heart when you see her in person. ENJOY!

Yes, I did have an Asian Mattel doll--I had trouble bonding with her though(looking back, I may have gotten one with thin hair) , and when my collection started growing, DH said he wouldn't mind if I sold her (she was a birthday gift from him), so I did--but later I wished I hadn't.

She went to someone who was giving her to her niece who was adopted from China, though, so I felt a little better. (But not much.)

And, after what others on the board have said about #4's hair, I thought I might see what some #4's look like in person, and perhaps buy a replacement doll.

Someone has a picture of their #4 in the new AGT embroidered party dress in their signature, and she looks just LOVELY in it! So, I'll take a look at some, and see.

I probably won't be able to make any final decisions until I'm actually there, but it's nice to have others' input in advance. So, thanks, everyone! [img]smile.gif[/img]
